Siskiyou County is breathing a sigh of relief. After weeks of no appreciable precipitation, we have been blanketed, smothered, inundated with, and clobbered by SNOW. So much that the ski park, which has been languishing, now is having problems with the power supply to their lifts. "Ski park shut down due to snow"...well, almost. The interstate has shut down a couple of days, people have their snowblowers going for hours just to get their car out of the driveway. EXCEPT for us who are fortunate enough to live in Lake Shastina. Two inches of snow. Total. Awesome. All of the beauty and none of the shoveling. I'm never moving again.
