Happy New Year!!!

I don't know about anybody else, but I, for one, will be glad tht 2008 is over. What a challenging, difficult year. Nevertheless, there were many wonderful things that happened.
The most precious time that I have ever had with my family occurred surrounding dear Annie's bedside in April. The love, grace, faith, and patience that you all had is indelibly etched into my heart. Thank you for being so indescribably loving.
My children have continued to be a source of pride and joy for me. I am so thrilled with their academic excellence, their artistry, their strength and love. I miss them, but am grateful for cellphones and email.
Scott and I are living in our "healing house", which embodies healing in every way. We continue to grow stronger in our marriage. Our last Badwater was filled with support, strength, and was what we hoped it would be...a Badwater to be proud of.
My physical health is back on track. I'm on the treadmill 5 days a week, and up to about 25 miles per week. My foot has adapted. The only things I have trouble with are balance poses in yoga....my tree pose topples.
Thanks to our Lord for the many blessings of this life. Thanks to all of you.

The best thing about 2008 is that I feel so much more connected to you, my beloved family.
